We have an exciting new opportunity for a Customer Servicing Officer to join our fast-paced Portfolio Management team. This role includes supporting the Customer Servicing Manager in the management of and strategic approach to Customer Relationships, ensuring all planning and decision-making processes are delivered on time with a significant emphasis on Customer Experience.
 
You will be responsible for the existing portfolio of business loans; monitoring lending relationships to detect any deterioration; monitoring loan covenants, managing customer lending requests and performing existing portfolio reviews.

You will also assist the Customer Servicing Manager in ensuring appropriate risk management is applied, to enable the continued performance and long-term sustainability of loans and customer relationships, and act as the point of contact for customers and other appropriate external stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities of the role include:

-     Supporting the Management of customer accounts through early identification of financial distress by pro-active customer contact.
-     Supporting the Management of portfolio of customers and their activities in this regard, involving but not limited to: 
-    Making effective credit and strategy decisions, with recommendations to the appropriate committees. 
-     Maintaining customer and management data in the Bank's Information Systems (relevant to this role) accurately and in a timely manner.
-     Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with the Bank's external service providers and internal stakeholders.
-     Identifying and suggesting ideas for where the Bank can improve its processes to provide a better customer outcome.
-     Ensuring compliance and adherence at all times to our Treating Customers Fairly principles, and all other regulatory requirements.

A good understanding of commercial real estate lending, loan documentation, covenant monitoring and borrower reporting are all pre-requisites for the role. 
Your strong negotiation skills, and the ability to identify and recommend appropriate solutions on challenging cases, by fully assessing a borrower's circumstances, will be an asset to the team.
