Regulatory Reporting Accountant

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Regulatory Reporting Accountant to join our fast-paced finance team.

The individual will be responsible for monitoring the regulatory environment, as it applies to small challenger banks, and proactively plan to meet regulatory expectations. The incumbent will also own the regulatory assumptions and activities, which will include liaising with internal audit in the delivery of improvements in line with the Bank’s products and growth aspirations.

The employee will also be responsible for supporting the finance team in maintaining financial controls, systems, and processes, to ensure the efficient and effective management of the Bank’s finances, as well as assisting in the day-to-day operations.

Key focus of the role will be:

  • Deliver the regulatory reports.

  • Maintain the regulatory documents, including assumptions, key decisions and conclusions.

  • Maintain regulatory reporting schedules.

  • Maintain the running and integrity of data inputs into the regulatory reporting.

  • Monitor regulatory reporting deadlines in RegData, OSCA and for other ad-hoc reporting required.

  • First line production, and review, of all regulatory returns.

  • Support Sub ALCO meeting papers production.

  • Sub ALCO minute taking and administration.

  • Assist/cover activities across the finance team.

  • Manage the preparation and uploading onto regulatory systems the returns including:

  • Liquidity LCR NSFR ALMM FSA 047/48

  • COREP

  • FINREP

  • BOE

  • Informal PRA reporting

  • PRA Reporting

 
Applicants should be educated to degree standard and, or, have a professional accounting qualification. Previous experience of regulatory reporting is essential.
