Our people are firmly at the heart of everything we do. We understand that when you, our customers, work with us, you want a personal relationship to enable quick decision making and flexible solutions. This is why we've taken some time out to speak to the people that power Redwood Bank.
Stuart Davidson, Head of Products
Having previously managed products including mortgages, savings, current accounts, cards and e-payments, Stuart joined the Redwood Bank team in 2018, as Head of Products.
Tell us more about your role at Redwood Bank and why you’re so passionate about it?
The culture is brilliant and there is a sense of collective achievement, and that we are really building a great business, which is very rewarding. I really enjoy coming up with new product ideas and working with the team to bring them to market.
Redwood is now two years old; how do you see the Bank evolving in the years to come?
The Bank has a very prudent business plan and I expect Redwood to continue to steadily grow and expand its customer offering over time, to meet the needs of its SME business customers.
What should we watch out for in the industry? Any game changers on the horizon?
It will be interesting to see whether the tech giants such as Amazon, Google and Apple make greater gains in banking and really challenge the high street providers.
Is there any standout customer feedback that you're particularly proud of?
Creating the products and seeing customer uptake is a constant source of pride, but having well over 90% customer satisfaction for our savings products and service is testament to the team and the benefit of putting the customer first.
And, finally, please tell us something that we don’t know?
I used to play a bit of sport and have had a 100-plus break at snooker... (if snooker is classed as a sport).
