Hertfordshire Challenger Bank scoops prestigious finance award

A leading challenger bank set up just five years ago has been awarded a highly respected savings award for a fourth year running.

Redwood Bank has once again picked up the Business Moneyfacts award for the Best Business Variable Rate Deposit Account Provider, beating the likes of Virgin Money, Hampshire Trust Bank and Aldermore Bank.

Redwood was presented with the accolade at the awards ceremony on Thursday, April 28, at Evolution London.

The Business Moneyfacts Awards celebrates the very best brands in the business and commercial finance sectors. The judges carry out thorough product monitoring and consider feedback from the broker and business communities to decide the nominees and winners.

CEO and Co-Founder of Redwood Bank, Gary Wilkinson, said: “We are thrilled to be recognised as the ‘Best Business Variable Rate Deposit Account Provider’ for the fourth year in a row.

“Winning this prestigious accolade reflects our commitment to offering businesses rewarding savings options, to give them flexibility when it comes to accessing their funds and making sure their cash is working hard for them.”

He added: “Holding onto this award for another year demonstrates the crucial role Redwood Bank plays in the development and future growth of SMEs. We are proud to represent and be a part of the future of banking. When our hard work is recognised and we receive yet another award, it feels great that our fantastic team is being acknowledged nationally.”

This award comes fresh off the back of another award win last month, when Redwood Bank was named ‘Best Business Notice Account Provider’ in the 2022 Savings Champion Awards for the fourth year running.
