Sergio has over 15 years of experience in financial services across Europe. He was one of the first people to have successfully completed the CERTBALM, which is the first, and long awaited, benchmark qualification in Asset and Liability Management (ALM) within the banking industry. It is provided by the Assets and Liabilities Management Association (ALMA) and accredited by the Association of Corporate Treasurers (ACT).
 
His career started at PWC, where he advised investment banks on structured products issuance and derivatives valuations. He has also held a number of senior roles in Treasury, ALM and risk, in both retail and commercial banks across Europe and most recently, over the last six years, has worked for a number of UK specialist lenders such as One Savings Bank and Amicus.
 
Sergio also brings a wealth of experience in terms of Regulatory engagement with the European Central Bank, European Banking Authority and Prudential Regulation Authority.
