John has more than 30 years’ experience in retail banking and consultancy, the past 15 in board and executive roles across FTSE 250 banks, private equity-backed specialist lenders and the mutual sector, including P&L ownership and commercial lead responsibilities at OneSavings Bank, Shawbrook Bank and a top 10 building society. 

Throughout this time, he has successfully combined commercial ambition with outstanding people management, creating exceptional, focused teams and sustainable business models. He is at his best in fast growth and turnaround situations and is experienced in post M&A integration.
