The Bank held a Broker Lunch at the Cosy Club in Birmingham to celebrate the strong relationships between Redwood and its most loyal brokers.
The Bank’s CEO and Co-Founder, Gary Wilkinson, hosted the event to reconnect with new and familiar faces following the removal of COVID-19 restrictions.
He said: “This was the first of two events being held over the coming weeks to send a clear message about how much we value our broker relationships. It was a celebration of those brokers who have most supported our work and helped the Bank move to profitability following our launch just five years ago.
“It was fantastic to have a face-to-face catch up and share details of our growth plans and our new board. As we take the next exciting step in our journey, we look forward to cementing further our relationship with the team of brokers who work closely with Redwood.”
The event was also attended by Leon Marklew, Redwood’s Director of Business Development, along with Chris Finnigan, Head of Business Development for North & Scotland, Andre Parcian, Head of Business Development for Midlands & Wales and members of their respective teams.
Leon said: “This is the first of many subsequent events to come as the Bank looks to reconnect in person with brokers and capitalise further on the relationships that have developed over the last five years.
“After so long working remotely, it was brilliant to reconnect in person with brokers who have trusted us with meeting their clients’ requirements. We wanted to repay that trust with a gesture that shows our appreciation for their support, which we hope will continue into the future. It was also a great opportunity to get everyone in one room and share experiences from the last two years.”
Redwood Bank, a two-time winner of the NACFB Patron Awards, has undergone significant growth over the last two years, achieved profitability in 2021 and now employs more than 100 members of staff.
The next Broker Lunch takes place in London at the end of March.
