Redwood Bank decided it wanted to do something to honour all the brave people who serve the country in recognition of Remembrance Day, which took place earlier this month.
The covenant focusses on helping members of the armed forces community to have the same access to government and commercial services and products as any other citizen.
By signing the document, Redwood Bank is showing its support to reservists or veterans in the community.
Redwood has joined hundreds of other UK companies which have also signed the covenant, such as Virgin Media, Marks and Spencer and British Airways.
Gary Wilkinson, CEO and Co-Founder of Redwood Bank, said:
"Our armed forces courageously protect our nation while at home and abroad. Many men and women have laid down their lives for us so we can continue to live in a safe and secure environment and without those who pledge the allegiance who knows where we would be."
"Redwood is a British bank and we’re extremely patriotic, so it made total sense to sign this covenant and publicly pledge our support to former, present and future soldiers.
"The entire world’s attention has been dominated by COVID-19, understandably, but there are still conflicts continuing around the world that involve our armed forces, which we mustn’t forget. We wanted to do something to show our support to those who once fought for our freedom and for those who continue to do so."
