Introducing our Women in Focus programme.

We have already surpassed our Women in Finance Charter target, and through our Women in Focus initiative, we have planned a programme of events to drive progress and foster an inclusive environment for all. The Women in Focus initiative is sponsored by our Chief Risk Officer, Rajesh Khosla and Director of Operations, Jenna Hill. 

Upcoming events 

Our flagship Women in Focus conference to be held on 27 February 2025 will bring together Redwood Bank colleagues and invited guests for an inspiring day of discussion and learning. Hosted by former BBC journalists Luisa Baldini and Louisa Preston, the event will feature a dynamic panel exploring how to accelerate action- the theme of International Women’s Day 2025. 

Speakers include:

• Joss Tasker – CEO, Sync Savings and former Ops Director and MLRO, Monzo 
• Jessica Cath – Partner, Thistle Initiatives 
• Jenna Hill – Director of Operations, Redwood Bank 
• Rajesh Khosla – Chief Risk Officer, Redwood Bank 
• Rhia Botha – Director of Treasury and ALM, Redwood Bank 

Following the panel, Luisa and Louisa will lead an interactive session on confident communication, equipping attendees with the skills to amplify their voices effectively. 

March will feature a series of Lunch and Learn and virtual sessions. These will cover topics including empowering women’s wellness in conjunction with Sarah Davies, CEO at Empower4Life, being a good ally, and building your personal brand in conjunction with Sarah Leete from Lawrence Dean Recruitment.
